I realize with time my relationship with God has changed as well it should; change is God, change is good.
Like loose coins in our pocket we jingle in this journey of life. Never settling down, always passing through hands, always on a pilgrimage from one bank to another. From one story to another, exchanging thoughts, words, actions. We change, the Word encourages flawless change…and life is good. Change is good.
The Word changes in meaning, shape, form depending on the place we are at, our growth, our maturity, the wisdom God has given us. Our great Creator, whatever name He has given you according to your relationship with Him. I used to be afraid to share God with others, but now I real eyes just how silly that is, because we all have the breath of life within us. I also realize that we are all on our independent journey. A journey that is so intimate no one can tell another what is right or what is wrong, although we can exchange our coins with one another.
Some of us carry really polished coins. God has been working with us. We start out as pennies, a bit rough around the edges, and somewhere along the line we graduate to nickels and dimes. Woo hoo! We think the dross is gone, we’ve made it. But not yet, not yet. We must still press in, so we may experience what it is like to become, why, the silver dollar! Imagine that.
Of course I am speaking in nonsense to all of you straight laced believers. Perhaps it would help if I broke it down like this.
Life is about change, flow with it. We are like water rushing down a river, moving at a pace so fast we find our breath hard to catch and yet as long as we inhale, why there it is. God is always sitting with us, we simply don’t always recognize the shape He will take. We don’t always recognize the message when He gives it to us.
Perhaps it is because it doesn’t come in the pretty package we wanted. Or it didn’t meet our expectation of what we thought God was supposed to be. But that is what is so beautiful about the Word, which is the living God. It is dressed up in so many different ways. If you don’t like what you see, the answer is simple. Pray for another way to express the Word, and see what God does with it. Wait and see.
Maybe He will give you a thesaurus to better interpret the Words he has showered on you as blessings for the day. And that is my rant and rave for today. Prays The Word, that is the living light always with us, in one way or another.
The Word of the day is JOY. To pass through pain one must have Joy. Our great Creator has given us sorrow, pain, and suffering so that we may experience Joy. Without contrast, there is no life.
And, we are created for LIFE.
The Son, suffered, so that we may experience life. This is our purpose, to LIVE.
Anything other than living is a lie.
Guilt, depression, worry, anxiety, it is a dream, a lie, created by darkness, to keep us from living.
Forgive us, Father, Papa! We know not what we do. We sit around wasting LIFE, because we do not realize salvation has already come. The great Cristos has already come and said…LIVE!
I have come to give you life!
Joy. Live in joy, live in the moment. Do not live to be doing. Do not live to do. Just be in the moment, and find the joy in whatever it is you have and are.
Life is joy. Pain is remembering God is watching out for you. Let us give thanks for it. That sounds odd doesn’t it? More on that later.

You know people spend all this time wondering what God is. I’ll tell you. God is good. Sometimes we all fall into the dark. I know I do all the time. It’s like getting caught up in these waves. I think that is what the dark is. Falling into the wave believing all is lost in the nothing.
Thinking it can’t be done and this has to be a certain way and so does that.
When the reality is nothing has to be done any way and all is really good as long as you have God. Because God is good. And God loves.
And no matter how messy your life gets, He will pick you up, wipe you off, and set you back on your feet again.
That feels so good. Thanks Man. That’s what I have to say.
In the dark of the night when I see the light come in and remember, OH! That’s the color of God, that’s the flavor of my Savor, so sweet, so bright, that distinct off gray and blinding light.
He comes in just a second, to remind me that I am not alone. He IS. And, I AM. And no matter what, all is well.
I have to tell you the last week or two have been a real struggle. Satan is on bored (ha ha) really. He’s working hard with his little minions trying to upset the ship. Make me feel like a piece of sh**…well you know how it goes. Dumb stuff has been happening. Really dumb.
My other site got hijacked. Phishing scam. So Google contacts me and tells me they took my site down. They thought the site was a phishing site; and if it wasn’t, then someone hijacked it to make it look like it was. And, I have to fix it before they are willing to put it back up; that could take two weeks. Well I don’t know a thing about HTML, I have to use a web interface you know, those cheesy design builders? I am sticking to blogs from now on.
So, my sites are all like, “Praise GOD and love people.”
Nice, that’s phishing right?
So this site was a site that tried to make women feel better by helping boost their self confidence. It encouraged them to submit personal poetry; eventually an anthology would be put up of women stepping out and into God. It donated any funds raised to charity.
PHISHING my butt.
I call that the dark side.
Anyway. I assume that is in conjunction with a recent I will not name congregation making fun of wild prophetesses they called “weird.” I don’t think God would make anyone feel uncomfortable by labeling the people He chose to deliver true words through as “weird.” I also don’t think He would try to single any pastor out as some divine gift that people should idolize. Please pardon me while I step aside to puke. Sorry, I saw a really nauseating performance this weekend that made me want to vomit. Total idolatry.
So, I assume that is why I am being attacked. Perhaps because I am noticing things; perhaps because I am trying to publish things. Perhaps just because. I rebel against that which people are enamored with but I find problems with. But, I still say, get thee away Satan. From me at least. May I rebuke you false prophets, you that profane that which is holy. You who profit from foolish tactics. A false profit (ha ha), one that prefers unkempt actions and wild exclamations rather than the humble and simplistic love that the Lord profers unto his people.
My God, My God, what a circus the world has become.
So yeah, my world is a bit hectic, everywhere I turn things are topsy turvy. I read this crazy thing about the new latest and greatest thing, I think it was called Surprise Me. Where you know, you ask God to surprise you with something new and allow Him to direct you and people were going nutty.
Now, I am all for anything that gets people going to God, but isn’t that what you call, THY WILL BE DONE? Aren’t we supposed to do that anyway everyday? Just wake up and say, YOUR WAY LORD, YOUR WAY, MAY THY WILL BE DONE? Isn’t that the same thing?
It’s kind of like asking your child to put their plate in the sink or get dressed. It’s just something we are supposed to do.
Ok. That’s my rant and rave for today. The good news is Phillipians 4:4…Rejoice in the Lord always…

Oxford recently put to rest it’s one word “test,” an entrance essay requiring applicants to write an essay using one “word” printed on the back of a piece of paper.
The essay was apparently so popular that non-applicants would line up outside just to write an essay. Apparently the essay did not have enough merit to actually validate an applicants actual academic aptitude. Sounds like a lot of fun however.
So, on that note, let’s start our own writing contest. Get your journals out. Ready? Here is our one “word” of the week. Write your best possible 150 word essay using the word posted below. I will post the best entry to the blog.

“Covenant”
I met the neatest lady today…her journey in Christ has been truly amazing. She lost her grandson about a week ago, but is holding up very well.
It reminded me of why I love Christ. Because He fills my body with a feeling of love that makes me want to explode like a popping balloon. I want to fly high in the sky and simply vanish into His mesmerizing arms of silky smooth white chocolate luxury. Christ is so luxurious! His light is infinitely brighter than ten zillion suns in a perfect galaxy, all pointed at you.
The highest high you can have is not as high as Christ. I guarantee it! No tingles, out of this world, visiting other planes, connecting with universal knowledge and consciousness has been as great as the high I’ve had with Christ. There is just nothing like HIM!
I don’t have much to say right now, because I am feeling overwhelmed by the glory of God. What I do have to say is this. If you want to feel Christ in your life, worship. Worship God, praise the Lord.
“Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power; for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are created…” Rev 4:11
“The Lord is pleased with those who worship Him and trust in His love…” Psalm 147:11
If you want to experience Christ, if you want to live in Christ, worship and praise Him. Thank Him for all you have in your life. Don’t just go to Him when you need Him. Remember Him right now, in the good times. In the “no” times when nothing is going on. Wake up with a “Hello Christ!!!”
You’d be amazed at what worship can do. It will bring you peace in times of sorrow. It can bring you everlasting love. It quenches thirst and relieves hunger…
Worship…it brings God pleasure, which brings you pleasure…which makes everyone smile.
Love, it is a great thing…
I love this quote from Paul, one of the coolest people in the gospel:
“And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth” Acts 17:26
Here is another way to say it…
He caused to spring from one forefather people of every race, for them to live on the whole surface of the earth (Weymouth NT)
Paul is actually preaching to a bunch of heathens (Love that word), idolators, and what have you, atheists, pagans, Satanists, who knows…about the futility of worshiping to gods that won’t do a thing for them. But my point is, we are all made from ONE God.
Does not matter who we are, what skin color we are, what color our hair is, how many tattooes we have, what color our hair is, how many times we have f*d up, how many addictions we have, how many times we have divorced, how many times we have lied, stolen, crapped up, gone back to our screwed up lifestyles.
How many times we have cheated, screamed, forgotten the word. We are all made from the SAME God. And, He LOVES US. Oh, how he does LOVE us. And he craves our attention.
He WANTS us so bad. He really does! He wants us to come to us. He is not up there with a whip ready to beat us down. His arms are wide open screaming, “Children, come to me my darlings and let me hug you up and adorn you with my gifts, the gifts of my kingdom, let me nurse your wounds and let me heal you!”
For, our God loves us. His miracles are plentiful. He wants to lead you into light and pull you out of darkness.
And, we all look different. We have different ways. We think differently. Are there requirements with our Lord? Sure. He wants us to glorify Him, He wants us to love one another.
But once you start to really understand who God is and how He is working in your life, that becomes really easy, even if you screw up again, because our God is a forgiving God.
He will help you in times of temptation. He will guide you step by step as you learn to crawl, toddle, and walk the path of a true Christian.
Won’t you take the time to learn who this amazing God is?
Love, love, love…love is the answer, love is our God.
Food for thought…
I went to a cool place the other day; I like to call it the Rock N’ Roll church. I was just reading Romans 14. This is a great chapter in general but looking at 14:19,
Let us pursue the things which make for peace and the things by which one may edify another.
Romans 14 talks about the “foods” we eat, what is good and what is not. What we eat and what we don’t, whether we should judge what others eat or not. I wrote this post but am now changing it, because I think it sounded to “judge-E” the way I initially wrote it.
I think what God is trying to say is this…put in your mouth what you want, but do it in a way that edifies (glorifies) God. Don’t do things that will tempt, bring your brother down. If it is going to, just don’t!
So, the question of certain other things like say, puffing up comes up. Well ask, does this serve to PLEASE God or does it serve to please the SELF…if the latter, well you have a problem. If it brings your brother down, you have a problem.
God wants us to do things that bring glory to Him, and help our neighbor. If edifying serves to please one’s neighbor; to please God…it’s ok, because the greatest commandments of all are to love GOD above all else and to love one’s neighbor;
Here’s some other food for thought.
Knowledge. Is it really valuable? Wisdom…what good is it? Really, love is the greatest gift of all; far better to have love than knowledge. For knowledge tells you… “All things are lawful for me,” such as…”all plants are made lawful for my use”…but…remember to ask…do all things edify God? (Or one’s neighbor)…do all things please thy neighbor, in LOVE???
Do they build up your spiritual temple? Or, do they simply please YOU, make YOU feel good, fool you into believing you feel good, are spiritually connected, help you relax…make you forget about love, your purpose…whatever. What are you doing, really?
When you eat the food of “idols”, which can be nothing more than things you crave or need day after day, things that you believe make you the real you, are you gaining true KNOWLEDGE or are you deceiving yourself?
Doesn’t God make you the real you? Are you using Satan’s tool, is he deceiving you into thinking you are using good medicine? Think about it…
Love is natural. Love is God.
This is the question you must answer, to ascertain whether you worship an idol, or follow Satan, or whether you practice the true Word of God. Are you puffing yourself UP with Satan, or with GOD?
I’ve heard a lot of people tell me lately that they “need” certain things for them to really be who they are. Whether that is food, medicine, certain herbs, people or what have you. That’s why I fell on this chapter I think. I believe (that’s just me) that the truth of what we need rests in God, in His Holy Spirit, in the Spirit of Christ.
There is some truth to that. Read Romans 14, see what you think. Just some God food for thought.
That’s today’s food for thought. A lot of holy babble.
